Gaby Mancin

“The mark of an interesting soul”

The Magama story begins with big city art, culture and architecture. Inspiration is drawn from New York, Miami and the lively urban locales of Latin America, infusing the collection with a bold, eclectic personality. Movement, line, shape and color are dominant themes.

Magama takes its name from designer Maria Gabriela Mancin. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, “Gaby”obtained her Fashion Marketing degree at Parsons School of Design in New York City. A keen observer of trend and tradition, Gaby drew from her artistic heritage and extensive travel for her designs, which she views as a mixture of “Latin, North American and European culture” still representing a universal view. Through her art-inspired creations, she strives to inspire and empower others and encourage confidence.

This is a company of harmonious family ownership and collaboration. Kindred spirits Gaby and her mother Rosangela work side by side, tending to every detail. The collection speaks to the women and men of their generation (and beyond).

Often rule breakers, Magama designs are distinctive, sexy and liberating. Works of art that complement, enhance and elevate, they set the wearer apart and take any look from good to great.
